My Testimony: Saved by Grace on the Highway!

Hi Guys!

It's been a while I posted something here. The last couple of weeks have been really challenging, busy, hectic and work-loaded.
I feel really terrible as I've not been keeping you guys updated with Job Posts, Health Tips, Career Tips, Business Tips, and my regular Blog Topics.

I will make up for the cessation and do my best as much as I can to keep you guys up-to-speed!

I just want to use this medium to express my gratitude to God for sparing my life on the Highway , and averting what could have been a tragic incident and ghastly accident.

I was on my way to Uyo from Calabar at about 14:10 pm on tuesday June 17th 2014 on a work assignment. Along the Calabar-Itu Highway, at some point around okurikang
, I approached a terrible stretch of the road and quickly made effort to hit the brakes in order to reduce the car's speed. Several attemptes at hitting the brakes to no avail, I saw the car heading towards an on-coming payload truck. In a swift attempt to avert a head-on collision, I swerved the steering to the right. In a blink, the car raced to the right side of the road, went over a roadside bunker and landed on the driver's side in the bushes by the roadside.

On noticing that the car had stopped, I turned off the engine and checked that my friend and I were ok. Gratefully, I and my friend who were in the car had our seatbelts securedly fastened and were unhurt. Villagers who were nearby quickly rushed to the scene and helped us out of the car.

Everyone kept acknowledging the fact that  it could have only been God that we came out of the car totally unhurt and the car minimally damaged. I couldn't have been more grateful to God for this! It's like a gift of life given to me to live again.

Sadly, the road is still being rehabilitated and does not look to be perfect in a couple of months, I'm still having the creeps thinking of touching the steering again. (But i'll have to anyway, work demands). Again I'm grateful that my friend and I are both alive, hale and hearty.

I'm just grateful! God sure loves me and has awesome plans for me! That's my testimony!
